When I was a kid this area was our playground. We built dens, fell in the stream and generally risked life & limb. The area then was known as Gypsy wood though there were fewer trees than now and no sign of any Gypsies.
It has now been tidied up and is popular with dog walkers and duck feeders. The stream has been bridged, the rhubarb fields are a 9 hole golf course and the mill (which once housed a small two man private colliery) is now flattened and provides a convenient car park for the cache at N53.40.858 W001.33.813. There are ducks and other birds on the old mill dam which is pretty well silted up and now quite pleasant, so bring some bread.
There is a medal for the FTF and other bits and bobs as swaps.
