Warnham Walk 9 - Hazel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Humber Rock and Gravel Horsham: Time for this series to make way for something new. Thanks to everyone who found it (over 200 each over the 5 years) and for your nice logs. I hope the new series is at least as well received. [:)]

Geocache Description:

This is one of 12 caches set on Mrs HRGH's favourite local walk; approximately 4 miles in the countryside around the Sussex village of Warnham (some paths can get quite muddy at times). There is also a Church Micro in Warnham which can be included at the start of the circuit; the Sussex Oak pub opposite this might be a good place to end up!

Each cache is at or close to a different type of tree (hence the names). If your knowledge of trees is not great, the hides are still easy, or you can look at the Woodland Trust's British Trees web site to help identification.

There is free parking available on the road in the village near the church (although this tends to be busy) or at the Village Hall car park at N51 05.380, W0 21.000.

Look out for the fish in the pond as you cross the bridge at 05.382, 21.898. After finding this cache, continue up the hill. These woods are carpetted in Bluebells during the Spring.
