Greater Love
This is one of the eleven chapels on the base.
Due to spacing between caches, this is the one I have to use. The chapel is just inside the fence. For those who are interested, I will list other co-ordinates at the bottom for other chapels that are accessible.

Of the four Divisions that trained here;
70th Infantry Division – “Trailblazers” - 775 killed in Europe
91st Infantry Division – “Powder River” - 1,575 killed in Europe
96th Infantry Division - “Deadeyes” – 603 killed in Leyte, 1,598 killed in Okinawa
104th Infantry Division – Timberwolves” – 1,447 killed in Europe
In John H. Baker’s book “Camp Adair” he states on page 109 that when the camp was razed, all the chapels were spared. Four were moved to be war memorials, seven for churches.

Just a note to those who are searching for my cable caches. Some of these sites have not been seen for decades by the general public. So, that means that a lot of them are very overgrown with blackberry vines, etc. I have read a couple logs about difficulty finding their way in (at first), just remember, you are following a 69 year old. So, use your head, as well as your GPS. If the way is difficult, you are probably not going the way I did. So back up and circle around, there is a way in.]
