Geocache Description:

Have you ever wanted to grab 100 caches in a single day but the task seemed daunting? Well, here's your chance. This stretch of open road seemed the perfect place for our 100 Caches in a Day series. The best approach for this series is from the North. These are Log only Caches - Enjoy!

The Altair 8800 was designed  as build-it-yourself kit, and the forerunner to our modern computers. This computer was sold by mail order only.  The designers  hoping to sell a few hundred were shocked when they sold thousands in the first month.  This computer had no screen, the only way to “read” it was  a series of lights on the front panel, and if you jumpered it correctly you could produce a series of tones.  Think of that, and look at the phone in your hands…. We’ve come a long way baby!  A friend of mine’s dad had this and I remember us all gathering around amazed….. at this computer that really didn’t do anything.  Funny
