Another quick and easy Beaker cache to break up the drive along the notorious Dukes Highway. A simple cache located on the other side of the Adelaide - Melbourne railway line.
Mum always warned me about people from the 'Wrong side of the tracks'. I never knew what was so bad about being from the wrong side of the tracks... so i thought i'd place a cache here to see what it was she was on about. So... if you've always wondered what Mum and Dad were on about when they mentioned the 'Wrong side of the tracks'... here is your chance to find out.
There is a track that seems to go along the length of this railway... but it's not really a wise idea to take it. However, this is a proper road that runs parallel to the railway, and is a chance to get out of the car and have a bit of a look around. The closest place to safely cross the railway is at Jacobs Rd. Please do not park on the highway and walk over... the trains do pass through here at a fair old pace.
Please replace the cache carefully and cover completely using the natural materials provided. Probably be best to check for snakes too once we hit the warmer months.
