Saltmarsh revised Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
An easy micro .Total walk is about a mile. Please bring your own pen.
This cache was originally a multi, so that you would HAVE to enjoy the whole walk, but upon replacing the log book I realized, that one stage would be enough. So if you have found it before, you can re-find it and get another smiley !
Grab you binoculars and your camera and check out this beautiful
and educational walk along the saltmarsh in Guilford! This is a
well hiden gem of a nature preserve close to the highway and
downtown, yet you'll feel like you are far away from everything !
It is VERY easy ! There's absolutely no need to bushwhack
or to leave the trail. Ever ! Please keep dogs at home and your
children on a leash (just kidding !).The Preserve is open from dawn
to dusk and parts of the trail goes along private properties, so
please respect the hours. To find it, drive along Clapboard Hill
Road to The Meadowlands. It says "private", but you really are
allowed to go there, because the preserve is open to the public.
There's a parking area and information board at the beginning of
the trail. I suggest that you start there.
