A cache near the village of Nantglyn. Short hike along footpath
will bring you to the cache. Nice view over the village and
surrounding countryside. NB: phone reception very poor for iphone
cachers.
Before the primary school just above the village closed, this was
the route to school for children walking from Waen Nantglyn. The
cahe is best reached from the end near a small chapel. You can park
in the car park at any time exept Sunday mornings (Chapel service)
Thanks to Mike from Team Marzipan for providing additional way
points. Also provided a WP for the footpath if approaching from the
opposite direction.
The walk is only about half a mile on the way marked foot path. No
difficult terrain but there are some steps and muddy sections
making it unsuitable for pushchairs or wheel chairs. The path is
through farm land so make sure any Geo-hounds are kept under
control and don't bother any livestock. No need to cross any fences
near GZ (there's a gate) This is out first cache, we've crossed
checked the co-ordinates but if anyone feels their out let me know.
The cache should be hidden again in the same spot, if you have
trouble replacing it just hide it and let me know. Congratulations
LDoubleL with the FTF!
