Geocache Description:

A cache along a graveled interpretive trail featuring a prehistoric village.

Park at Tijeras Ranger Station, where you can pay your day use fee for Cibola National Forest and purchase a forest map for your explorations. Not that you'll need a map for this cache! Instead, go around the north end of the building until you find the start of the interpretive trail. The featured attraction is Tijeras Pueblo, a small village dating to roughly six centuries ago. The village is covered with earth to protect it, but signs and a model help you imagine the village and the people who lived there.

If you cross two wood bridges right away, then generally head uphill, you will be on the right track. The cache is neither "on" the trail nor "off" the trail. There is another possibility! While much of the trail is in plain view of muggles at the the ranger station and local houses, the cache is screened by trees.

The cache is named after an "action figure" placed in the cache (and still there, if someone doesn't claim it for a prize). The "action figure" is of someone relatively famous.
