Geocache Description:

There is great walking through fields and bits of woodland around Salter in Roeburndale. Roadside parking can be found near Barkin Bridge and just below Low Salter.

The cache is located at a waterfall in Pedder Gill. The sight of the waterfall evoked Oxley's quote but no worries unlike Indiana Jones you only have to make it down the first drop to just above the second drop (the vertical fall). This is not a problem when it's dry but BE VERY CAREFUL IN WET CONDITIONS as you have to traverse sheer rock that might be slippy after rain or flooding.

You'll find the cache hidden a few steps from the second drop, well above ground level. Keep to safe ground, there is no need to scramble up rock ledges or venture close to the sharp drop. The cache itself was a tin of fish crackers in its former life and is wrapped in a camo bag for protection.
