Schloppity Schlop Traditional Cache
OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Nice walk along trail. Close to trail. I won this container at the SJG Summer Bowling event. Thanks Shop 4 Swag!
Container went missing, most likely floated away, so we replaced it at Geowoodstock and found some drier ground.
ON THE RIGHT TRAIL
By: DANIELLE CAMILLI
Burlington County Times
MOUNT LAUREL - Burlington County began its long-planned network of trails along the Rancocas Creek on Wednesday with the opening of the first trail between the historic Centerton Bridge and the Rancocas Pointe housing development.
The trail is also the county's first public-private partnership as the trailhead starts on the Carlucci's Waterfront Restaurant property on Centerton Road, and the owners are providing parking and public access across their rear deck.
County officials eventually hope to connect the half-mile stone path officially opened Wednesday with other trails along or near the creek. Ultimately, the county wants to build a 25-mile network of trails from the confluence of the Delaware River and Rancocas Creek to the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, using its parks as anchors to the trails.
"It's an ambitious project but one we hope to accomplish very soon," said Matt Johnson, the county coordinator for open space acquisition and park development.
Some of the trail will not be creekside but connected through a "hodgepodge of easements and road shoulders," county Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio said Wednesday at the ribbon cutting on Carlucci's deck overlooking the creek. Plans call for the network to include Amico Island Park in Delran, Boundary Creek in Moorestown, Pennington Park in Delanco, Long Bridge Park in Hainesport, and Smith's Woods in Eastampton. All have access to the creek.
Garganio said with more public-private partnerships, "we can do amazing things with our park system."
"This may be just a half-mile of trail, but it is a very significant half-mile," he said. "This is the first section of regional trail to be built outside of our county parks, and it advances our vision of a system of parks and trails of the Rancocas Creek greenway."
The new trail features a wide path through pristine woods with views of the creek and Mount Laurel's only American chestnut tree. It is built on part of the 22 acres that Mount Laurel builder J.S. Hovnanian & Sons donated when it built Rancocas Pointe.
"Standing here we realize, although part of a neighborhood, you're being embraced by nature. There is a quality of life here that is very unique and we are proud to be part of it," developer Peter Hovnanian said.
The project took three months to complete and cost $267,000, including trail clearing, development of stone-dust pathways, and construction of a boardwalk and benches. The work was performed by Compass Construction of New Egypt.
The project is also the first county park development initiative to be funded entirely through the state's Green Acres program, with 25 percent coming from a grant and 75 percent through a low-interest loan, officials said.
Neil Capuano, an owner of Carlucci's, called the trail a "great asset" to the community and hoped it would bring hikers and bikers to the restaurant.
"It's been great to work with the county to get this section of trail built," Capuano said. "I hope to see families walk and bike up to our place to enjoy the views and great food."
