The Bearing Tree Traditional Cache

This cache is located near Ice House Lake. There is a turnout
nearby that should make stopping for this cache pretty safe. When
you get to this parking area you'll have a great view of Union
Valley Lake and the forest. This tree identified as the Bearing
Tree is a short walk down the hill. We're sure you'll identify the
tree before you even get out of your car but you'll need to inspect
it closer to get a look at the sign. The cache is a large ammo can.
It doesn't have much in it as it was a spontaneous cache placement
while we were camping nearby. There are a few things though
including an unactivated travel bug for the lucky finder. There is
no bag for the log so it someone has one handy that would be
great!! As always take a picture!! Inside the cache is a girl scout
geocaching patch so if there any girls who are scouts or may be
interested be sure to take this patch!!
