Please note: this is NOT the final location of the cache - the co-ordinates given are for the Car Parking. (The surface isn't the best, and I'm not even sure why there are often cars parked there - think it's for the birdwatching).
Not recommended for wheelchairs - there is a stile, rough road, steps etc.
Placed to commemorate my 400th find.
THIS IS THE THIRD OF 3, WHICH WILL EACH GIVE YOU CLUES TOWARDS THE FINAL CACHE. PLACED ON 26TH SEPTEMBER 2010, THE FINAL CACHE WAS PLACED ON 27TH DECEMBER 2010.
You will need to have done Lord of the Caches #1 (GC246WP), AND Lord of the Caches #2 (GC20Q77) and recorded the answers to find the co-ordinates for this one.
From that cache, you need to solve the following to gain the co-ordinates of this cache...
N 54 AB.CDE W 001 FG.HIJ
where AB = the sum of the digits in the date of birth of the Belgian soldier + 2
C = the first digit + the last digit of the year on the back of the logbook in Lord of the Caches #2
D = (using the coding system where A=1 through to Z=26), from Lord of the Caches #1, the 2nd letter of the occupation of the head of the table.
E = (using the coding system where A=1 through to Z=26), from Lord of the Caches #1, the 6th letter of the occupation of the head of the table.
FG = the sum of the digits of the date of death of the Belgian soldier - 1
H = (using the coding system where A=1 through to Z=26), and using the 3-digit code found in Lord of the Caches #2, subtract the second digit from the first digit.
I = choose from 2 (England), 4 (Wales), 6 (N. Ireland) or 8 (Scotland) - dependent upon the country from Lord of the Caches #2
J = first digit of the Belgian's date of birth
Once you've found the cache, you will also need to collect a KILLER SUDOKU, which you will need to complete in preparation for finding "Lord of the Caches - the final cache' which was launched in December 2010.
