On February 22 – Elvis Presley  Made it to the US music charts for the first time, with Heartbreak Hotel, the following month he released his first Gold Album titled Elvis Presley, and on September 9 that same year Elvis Presley appeared for the first time on the  Ed Sullivan Show.
