Wiangaree
Wiangaree is a town of 130 people and marks the turn off from the Summerland Way to the Border Ranges National Park.
The town itself has a general store, which doubles as a orchid nursery also contains a display of relics from local history.
The lagoon is a popular place for travellers to have a break - there a plenty of ducks and bird life to watch, and if you're very quiet, while you walk alongside the water's edge, you'll probably see a turtle or two.
The cache is not located at the picnic/parking area as it can be a high muggle zone on weekends; it's a 300m stroll down from here.
Good idea to keep an eye on the kids, to make sure they dont wander onto the road or lagoon. If walking from, the picnic area, there is a small canal to walk around, which brings you within 2m of the road.
