Geocache Description:

Have you ever wanted to grab 100 caches in a single day but the task seemed daunting? Well, here's your chance. This stretch of open road seemed the perfect place for our 100 Caches in a Day series. The best approach for this part of the series is from the South. These are Log only Caches - Enjoy!

The planet Pluto was discovered in 1930. It is a dwarf planet and the first Kuiper belt object discovered by astronomers. Pluto has an elliptical orbit usually lying beyond of Neptune, it is about 3.67 billion miles from the sun, and takes about 248 years to make its revolution around the sun. Although Pluto was long regarded as a planet, in 1992 other Kuiper belt objects, including one larger than Pluto have been discovered. Astronomers have reclassified Pluto, and in 2006 the International Astronomical Union (IAU) ended official recognition of Pluto as a planet. But in my heart, Pluto will always be a Planet! >/b>
