Quarry View is located on business US-23 south of Rogers City. A sign on the road marks the entrance. There is ample parking and the cache should be a fairly simple find. An additional attraction here is the view from the platform located within sight of the cache.
As the name implies this is the last attempt to place a cache at this very interesting site. If this one disappears, it will not be replaced by us. The first four were small tradition caches with swag and were plundered or stolen. Therefore this attempt is your basic recycled container and there is no room for trade items. You may want to bring your own pen, as the pencil provided is the only thing worth stealing.
This quarry is the largest limestone quarry in the world. It has been in continuous operation since 1908 and it is estimated that there are enough resources remaining to last another fifty years.
