Geocache Description:

An easy cache to celebrate the construction of a long-awaited cycle path through Haydon Hill.

The Emerald Way is part of the Gemstone cycle route network.
It was a long time in the planning (at least 10 years to my knowledge) but at last we have a cycle route on this side of Aylesbury!

It may not yet lead NW to anywhere remotely useful like Aylesbury Vale Parkway station (don‘t get me started on that one!) but at least it’s a pedal in the right direction………….maybe one day, far in the future, cyclists and pedestrians will be able to get safely to more exotic destinations such as Fleet Marston or even Waddesdon!

Can be done as a cache and dash, but please wait if necessary for the coast to be clear as EXTREME stealth is required.
If you’re cycling, a bike will provide good camouflage.
You need to BYO pen, and tweezers!

The cache can be easily combined with the excellent Round Aylesbury Walk and series of caches.
