Cache is a camoed pill container with a log, a pencil, info about Geocaching and initially filled with some butterfly clips for trading.
Trailhead is across the road from the new CIVIC Heritage Historical Center. Historians from Cato, Ira, Victory and Conquest have worked for 10 years to make their dream of a history center a reality.
The four historians made a pact when their society formed in 1983 to save every relic of past life they could get their hands on — if they didn’t do it, who would? — and have since amassed impressive, but rarely seen, collections.
The center opened 7/17/2010 and will be open Sundays during the summer and on request for school classes and senior groups during the year.
