Geocache Description:

In Memory of my Dad, Captain Rick Braden

This cache is in Memory of my Dad, Captain Rick Braden who passed away on January 12, 2003 from cancer.

The location of this cache is very near where he worked. He was a firefighter for 28 years. Most of that time was spent operating a dozer on fires but the last few years were spent working in the command center.

He loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, etc. and I know he would have loved geocaching just as much as I do. In that spirit, I am placing my first cache in his honor.

The container is a camo canister containing a log, pencil and several firefighter related trinkets, as well as a special wooden puzzle box with a prize inside for the First to Find. Please don't break the box to get it open. You can re-use it and its more rewarding if you figure out how to open it :) I am also placing The Rick Braden Memorial Geocoin traveler in here to start it's journey.

The cache is available 24/7 but be careful of muggles.Preferable you don't go at night so no one gets alarmed. Should be a fairly easy grab and you can park on the street very near it. Please don't park in the parking lot.
