Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES.

I thought that it would be fun to combine the indoors of the library with the outdoors of geocaching. Welcome to my world! The Dewey Decimal Classification System (DDC) was invented by Melvil Dewey. The DDC categorizes nonfiction books by subject matter into ten main divisions which are then further divided into ten subdivisions. The longer the Dewey number, the more specific the subject matter of the book. The DDC is the most widely used classification system in the world--found in libraries in over 100 countries and translated into over 30 languages. This is the third in a series of ten Dewey puzzles created to honor the cache owners of the Monterey Bay Area. Do we know these people personally? Probably not. However, we have come to know them by their hides--the type, the container, the placement, the difficulty, etc. For example, most cachers would agree that I have a fondness for rotting logs! Geocaching is a give-and-take activity and we all depend on the time, energy, and creativity of cache owners to keep our sport alive. If you have not yet hidden a cache, please consider doing so. To those of you who have, thank you! Although RoanQ is one of the "old-timers" of the Monterey Bay area, she can hike and hide with a spirit that tests cachers of all ages and abilities. Just the mention of her "colored" caches will strike fear into most hearts. They are guaranteed to try the patience of all but the most persistent souls--and don't even get me started on those snips of color hints! Hike-to, rural, or urban--RoanQ has a challenge for you! In order to solve this puzzle, you do not need to know RoanQ. By simply using her hide titles, determine the correct coordinates for the cache by classifying each subject in the DDC.
