Geocache Description:

Just another one of BikerMike's favorite type of caches - a cemetery cache...

If I see a sign for a cemetery, or see one listed on the GPSr as I'm riding around, I usually try to stop and take a look around. They are a peaceful place full of history. This cemetery is pretty neat, as well as the old church by one of the gates. Take a look at it as you visit.

The church is an unusual bit of pioneer architecture. It has two front doors. Men entered through the right door and sat on the right side of the church, women and children entered through the left. Legend has it that some of the men attended church with rifles balanced across their knees, in case services were interrupted by an Indian attack. Noah and Isabella Neff, parents of former Texas Governor Pat Neff, helped to build the church, and their nine children first learned about God within its walls.

Onto the cache: fairly simple and obvious. 35mm film canister as I recall.
