EN: Ruginoasa Hole is located in Apuseni National Park a few
kilometeres after exit Arieseni, on the road to Stei. The trail
climbs almost 30-50 minutes (depending on each), to a large
clearing, where you can find Groapa Ruginoasa. Ruginoasa hole is a
very special phenomenon. It is a huge ridge crest ravinare dug up
in the south close to the Dry Valley, with a depth of 100 m and 600
m in diameter, a very active process of erosion has brought to date
the layers of quartz , whose red gives purple area looks very
different, it appeared from great distances as an open wound in the
body of the mountain. Erosion is very active even today, digging
regressive and rapidly, increasing size of the Ruginoasa Hole.
Watching old maps, it appears that erosion is working at high
speed. This place 80 years ago was marked only by a very small
ravines.

RO: Groapa Ruginoasa este situata în Parcul National Apuseni la
o distanta de cativa kilometrii de iesirea din Arieseni, pe drumul
spre Stei. Traseul urca 30-50 de minute (in functie de fiecare),
pana intr-o poienita , unde puteti gasi Groapa Ruginoasa, fenomen
foarte special. Ea este o imensa ravinare sapata pâna în creasta
culmii care închide spre sud Valea Seaca, cu o adâncime de peste
100 m si un diametru de peste 600 m. Pe toata suprafata ei, un
proces de eroziune foarte activ a scos la zi straturile de
cuartite, a caror culoare rosie violacee confera zonei un aspect cu
totul aparte, ea aparând de la mari departari ca o rana deschisa în
trupul muntelui. Aceasta eroziunea lucreaza si astazi foarte activ,
sapând regresiv si marind rapid dimensiunile Gropii Ruginoase.
Urmarind hartile vechi, se constata ca eroziunea a avansat cu o
viteza foarte mare, acum 80 de ani locul nefiind marcat decât
printr-o ravena foarte mica.. Pentru a va autentifica atasati la
log o poza cu voi pe marginea gropii si raspundeti pe email la

pana la groapa?
