Geocache Description:

A short walk around the lower slopes and village of Mayhill in Gloucestershire.

May Hill is a hill between Gloucester and Ross-on-Wye, whose summit is on the western edge of Gloucestershire, though its northern slopes are in Herefordshire. It forms part of a low range of hills separating the River Severn from the River Wye. This walk will take you around the lower edge of the hill visiting some local landmarks and it should take about 90 mins to complete. Distance for both caches is about 2 miles round trip. Park at the given coordinates listed above and below in the Waypoints and follow the Waypoints gathering clues to get to the final cache location. The cache can be found at: N051 A2.(A+D)2(A-D-C) W002 CA.4BA The cache is a small clip box suitable only for very small swaps. Please bring your own pencil, thanks. Once you've found the cache carry on into the woods and take a right to carry on to the next cache in the series (Mayhill, Sooty along the way but no Sweep. GC2DMYV). You will find it's starting coordinates in the box! Please ensure the box is well covered before you leave, thanks. Enjoy the area and thanks to Gloucestershire County Council for letting us place this cache. ********** Congrats to Bredon Marshions on FTF ! ***********
