YahotsWalker: Well this one lasted a long time and was very successful handing out goecoins. Also the office staff found it interesting to talk with folks from out of town and who had nice things to say rather than folks complaining about water bills! Yachats Oregon is located in Lincoln County in the middle of the Oregon Coast. It is a wonderful caching area with 37 caches located within 5 miles of the cache location. If you go 10 miles out you will find 70 caches! The caches located in the 10 mile radius range from a Difficulty rating of 1 to 4.5 while Terrain ratings run from 1.5 to 4.5. Most are easy drives and some take 4 mile hikes. There is something for everyone!
Your task is to find 20 of the 70 caches located within 10 miles of the posted coordinates. Your finds must occur after January 2009 but any of the current 70 caches are fair game! It is possible that the number will change over time as new caches may pop up! In any case the 20 finds still hold.
The cache location is only available between 8:30 and 4:30, Monday thru Friday and not on holidays so plan accordingly. To log the cache at the posted location you need the secret password which is provided in the hint. You also need either the name of the cache (Yachats In Lincoln County Oregon) or the GC number (GC2DMX6) along with the secret password to retrieve the cache from its location so again “Be Prepared!!”
Once you complete your bookmark list, post a note to this cache page for final approval. Please name the list “Yachats Lincoln County Caches”. Your bookmark list will be verified and a note posted to log the cache as completed. Please do not log a find for this cache until you receive authorization.
