Geocache Description:

The terrain has a rating of 5 because you will need a boat to do this cache.
The best place to launch is in Churchville Park at N43° 06.336 W77° 53.674. You will have easy access to the water and ample parking.
You can also launch a canoe from Rt 19 at N43° 06.384 W77° 55.996. If you are driving North on Rt19 go across the bridge and use the pullout at the end of the guard rail. You can back your vehicle toward the creek past behind the guard rail or carry your boat the short distance.
For a nice trip you can start at Rt 19 and go on to Churchville park, but you will need 2 cars to set up a shuttle or a drive to pick you up at the park.

For a round-trip figure on about 3 miles of paddling for either of the options.

Some of the things I saw when I placed the cache :
A doe with a fawn. The deer was just watching me as I drifted past at a distance of just 30ft.
Great Blue Herons.
Pileated Woodpecker.
A big ugly looking Snapping Turtle.
Lots of Painted Turtles.

Don't make the same mistake I did, bring your camera!
