Use the posted parking for Stateline Cemetery. Then go to the posted coordinates. From there start your search for the WWI soldier who appears to be MIA. He is resting within 74 feet of the posted coords. This is a hilltop, so be aware of the gusty winds that can come out of nowhere.
Once you have found him do the following to these coords:
N 41 45.706 W 083 33.647
subtract his year of death from the longitude in the form X.XXX
subtract his year of birth from the latitude in the form X.XXX
go sign the log
It should not be necessary to cross the northern fence into Michigan, nor is it recommended without appropriate safety gear.
