A cache created by The Stowmartians and later adopted by TeamCairney
Our 5th Bramford Cache and this is a replacement to Fison’s Horn which was muggled. Hopefully this one won't be! This one has so we have changed it and moved it to a new place firstly because of muggles near the river and secondly because Bushmans bridge is being closed for 6 months. .
I (Mrs StowMartian) grew up in Bramford and the meadows were my playground. In fact there were no houses behind my home, just fields leading down to the river..
Why Fison’s horn? There was (building still there) a large Fison’s factory in Bramford along Papermill lane and every morning, lunchtime and evening the horn would sound! We all knew if we heard the lunchtime horn we needed to get back home for our dinner, the same applied to the evening one, tea would be waiting for us! ‘.
Bushman’s’ bridge another place I spent many a happy hour, either swimming in the river or catching ‘tiddlers’!.
Its up to you where you park, you could stay parked at the victory hall or park nearer to the cache.
All the caches are not too far apart and could easily be completed in a morning or afternoon. We have set this series with families in mind knowing how much our 2 young nieces enjoy coming out with us and caching but not always enjoying the walks!!.
The cache camo tube with a pencil. We hope you enjoy this series x.
****Well done to the TOMBRAIDER4 for being FTF****
