The Old Carleton County Courthouse is in Upper Woodstock. It is open in the summer months for tours, and every year at Christmas is the site of a Christmas Pageant.
It is also the home of the Carleton County historical society who manage the property.

Route 560 in Carleton County is one of the main arteries for goods and people travelling from Woodstock through western Carleton County farmland. The road starts in Upper Woodstock and ends at River de Chute where it meets the “old Trans Canada Highway”.
Along this route you will pass through the heart of potato country, some small villages, and over some of the most picturesque scenery in New Brunswick.
We are placing these caches hoping all who find them will enjoy the scenery and learn a bit of the history of this area.
