How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

As the official end of summer approaches, so too does family vacation time. This cache is themed after those vacations and the trinkets brought home as mementos for you or gifts for others (not fortunate enough to travel with you!)

The hike is a pretty easy one for everyone and is an obvious trail almost the whole way. Parking is abundant about .24 from the cache site. Please make sure to camouflage the cache hiding spot exactly as you found it so keep away wildlife muggles!

Initial swag included such things as keychains and magnets etc.

The FTF prize is $2.78. The amount of a gallon of gas at the time the cache was placed.

NOTE: This cache was featured (though not by name) in a recent edition of Wild Wonderful West Virginia Magazine as well as the Charleston Newspapers Both publications did stories on the hobby of geocaching and this cache was the primary picture!
