Geocache Description:


Back in the 80s, we'd pop on some serious New-Wave and head over Kanan to go to Zuma. We all had to chip in money for gas, split a sandwich from home, and park on the street. We were happy, cause we all had minimum-wage jobs, good music, liked homemade bologna sandwiches, and didn't worry about sunscreen.

These days, things are different. I'm not exactly sure how 16 year olds today do it! Gas=3 bucks a gallon on a good day/ Sandwich=5 dollar footlong, Beach parking= 8 bucks a day (forget street parking!), Sunscreen= 8 bucks a bottle, "Teen Style" jobs= what are those? Music is cheap, but you can only listen to it on your headphones. No more boomboxes these days! :)

If you need any of the above mentioned items, you can get them ALL within easy walking distance of this spot.

So this is a shout out to the old days. FTF gets a travel coin! It's already had a long trip, so let's keep it going! BYOP!
