Geocache Description:

**THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE GIVEN CO-ORDINATES**

The given co-ordinates will take you to small lake off Kapiti Road where it is mandatory that you take some food for the ducks.
A simple slice of bread will suffice.

Failure to take bread to feed the ducks may result in your log being deleted.


It is suggested you park at
S40 54.055 E 174 59.573
but NOT on the grass verge.


A walk out onto a small peninsular towards a shelter will take you close to a wooden seat just before the shelter. The seat has some words carved into it. Keen observational skills will enable you to complete your quest by answering the questions below that are based on the carved message.

The questions preceded by an asterix * need a letter value substituted in the common way where A = 1 ; B = 2 etc etc

The answers will let you locate GZ which is not in the immediate vicinity.
GZ is visible to passing muggles so a degree of stealth is required and there will be times where retrieval is not possible without compromising the cache.

Please replace the cache container so it isn’t visible
to passersby.

A = * 6th letter value minus 11th letter value

B = * First letter value of first word

C = Total number of “E’s” in all the words plus 1

D = Number of letters in first word minus 4

W = Number of letters in fifth word

X = * 8th letter value minus penultimate letter value

Y = * 12th letter value minus 4th letter value

Z = Number of vowels in first word plus 2
