Geocache Description:

Another of My Fifty States (see bookmark for more)...............Congrats to Gummyfrog for FTF!

Morris is a rural community on the prairie of West Central Minnesota. With an approximate population of 5,200, Morris is located 165 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 100 miles southeast of Fargo/Moorhead. Morris is also the home of the University of Minnesota Morris.
In 1975, Morris was the site of the largest earthquake of the last century in the state, rated at between 4.6 and 4.8 in magnitude. Eighteen years later, on June 4, 1993, another quake slightly shook the community. This one measured 4.1 in magnitude and ranks as the third largest earthquake in Minnesota of the 1900s.
