Geocache Description:

A tribute to Eagle Zulu 36

Who is Eagle Zulu 36? Follow this multi and you will find out a little about him.

The published coord's are your starting point. When you are here count the number of yellow poles near the building entrance and also determine on which radio channels you would use to contact this base, being the 27Mhz and VHF calling channels. The volunteers who man the base have been helpful to others with this information.

Y = yellow poles
Ch1 = 27Mhz calling channel
Ch2 = VHF calling channel

Simply substitute the above values to find the plaque at

32 Y3.7Ch1
152 02.392

Read the plaque and calculate the average time between events.

AVG = average time between events (discard the decimals)

Now head to waypoint
32 43.696
152 02.AVG

At this 'virtual' waypoint you will need to travel a further distance of Ch2 metres at bearing of 270 degrees to GZ. The structure GZ is hidden on should be obvious.

At GZ the hunt for the cache container begins. The latest version is a tube with a log only.

***Congratulations to PD186 on your 1st FTF.***
