Geocache Description:

A top Mount Pleasant is a memorial to the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery, and the site is a saluting station for the Australian Federal Guard. It overlooks the Royal Military College, and the Australian Defence Force Academy, as well as Lake Burley Griffin and other Canberra landmarks. The irony of the name has, no doubt, not been lost on RMC and ADFA cadets. Mount 'Pleasant' is a favourite of the Physical Training Instructors for hill runs, pack marches, and cross country. The cache is not far from the car park on the top of the mountain. It is a short walk down a dirt track. If you're up for a walk, you can start at the bottom of the mountain. There is a gate across the road, and the path starts immediately next to this gate. There's room enough to park at the bottom too. The road to the top is closed between 7pm and 7am. The cache is a sistema container and can hold a few travel bugs and swaps. Congrats to tankengine on FTF.
