A cache on the sand dunes alongside La Moye Golf Course.
This 18 hole links type course of approx 6664 yards from the medal tees presents a fair challenge for golfers of all handicaps featuring large sand hills, pot bunkers, gorse bushes and punishing rough. A stiff wind will invariably add to the task, but the views are stunning and on a good day you can see Guernsey, Sark, Herm and Jethou.
The area of mainly sand dunes and marram grass goes between the seashore of St Ouen’s Bay and the top of the escarpment; from L’Etacq, with its ancient farms and fields of potatoes, to La Pulente, bordering the Five-Mile (8 km) Beach. They are defined by the huge seawalls that keep out the depredations of the rolling surf and have allowed the development of grasses and plants on the sand.
Be careful of muggle dog walkers and joggers who can sneak up out of no where.
Parking is available at Le Quennevais at N49 11.625 W002 12.211 or at LeBraye N49 11.881 W002 13.460
