This cache is located in beautiful Hoeft State Park on the shore of Lake Huron. The park is located approximately five miles north of Rogers City on US-23. The most convenient parking is at the pavilion lot N 45 27.932 W 083 52.890. Pick up a trail map at the gate house, particularly if you are going to do multiple caches in the park or need to use the hints. This cache is located near the pavilion on the aforementioned map.
This cache is one of several currently within the boundaries of Hoeft State Park. This series is placed with the cooperation of Hoeft State Park. Please cache in a responsible manner so that we may be allowed to keep caches in the park. The cache itself is in a small plastic container with a screw -on lid, decorated with the traditional camo-paint and a MIGO cache sticker.
All caches in this series are located within a few feet of marked trails or mowed areas.This cache requires a short bushwacking trip of about five yards . This cache is in/under/behind cover. Please rehide them as you found them. The trails are all foot trails, no bicycles allowed. Bikes may be parked in the rack at the pavilion.
