Loony Londo: This exciting location is so frequently under water or disturbed by other problems that it is time to let it go. Thanks to all who fought the brambles to find it over the years.

Geocache Description:

A small container with a log book and a pencil. There was a badge for the first to find.

This cache marks the start of the open fields of the Brooke Farm open space. Ahead of you are hedges full of Blackberries and Sloe berries ripe for picking . The blackberries you can eat straight away after washing them and it is best to pick the one about three feet off the ground for obvious reason! The sloe berries are too sharp to eat but if you wash them and prick them you can fill empty bottles with the washed berries, sugar and gin. You usually make two to three bottles of sloe gin from one bottle of gin. After six months the gin will have turned purple and is ready for drinking. I hope you have the chance to sample some wild black berries while you are here! Well done to P-Smiffy_Clan on the FTF!
