Quick easy find, 2 minutes from road, just off the footpath.
Old largish white vitamin container, big enough for small swaps and/or trackable items.
This path runs adjacent to the Ouse Dyke and leads to the Netherfield Lagoons, and after a while the River Trent. The path is very popular with dog walkers, so watch your footing :-(
The Netherfield Lagoons have quite a history, having been a developed industrial site, with railway sidings, gravel pits, coal mine waste and slurry pits. They are now used mostly by walkers, bird watchers and a wildlife conservation group. The whole area is fantastic for enjoying a stroll, especially along the banks of the Trent. British Car Auctions run adjacent to the path and Ouse Dyke, covering a rather large area with tarmac and vehicles.
Fuel, shopping and toilets available in nearby Morrisons. McDonalds is also nearby - all in Victoria Retail Park.
Please make sure cache lid is tight enough to keep the damp out, but not so tight that it may become damaged, Could you also please replace the cache as far down as possible to avoid being visible, especially in the winter. Thank you! :-)
