Geocache Description:

You are looking at a real live (Dead) TNT Bunker from when this area was covered with them as the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant. Now defunct, the city chose to leave some of them in place for historical reasons. NOTE that the coordinates will hop around due to the structure itself. but if you can see the bunker, you can find this cache - even without the clue! You are looking for a small container, BYOP, no room for trades. PLEASE return like you found it, so next person has same fun!

WARNING - over the years, KUDZU has gotten quite heavy, its easy to get to in winter, but summer can be some work, so I upped the terrain to a 2, just because - it may be flat, but its a bit of a tangle... Feel free to bring clippers and cut your way through! I'm sure the next cacher will love you! :D - oh and remember....where there's kudzu, sometimes Mr. Snek is there too... This bunker (#98) is located on the new road - Volkswagen drive, that takes you to the new Volkswagen of America manufacturing plant. The bunker can be seen from the road - although it is covered by kudzu in summer Imagine - our Grandparents built all this stuff as temporary things - because WW2 was going to end war. They built things good back then - as evidenced by the fact that these bunkers are still around. This bunker cannot be opened or entered, but still can be admired as a monument to a time when we made "everything" here in the USA.
