Geocache Description:

Another of my Yunta tales series. Contains log and pencil.

The Yunta airstrip is kept in good condition mainly to cater to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Over the years it has been upgraded with a better surface (still only dirt) and has been lengthened so the newer planes have enough room for landings, in particular the RFDS. There are also a few local station owners who have planes that fly in to town occasionally.
