Cache is located within Woodland Cemetery, near the Section 5 War Memorial. The cache is a very quick park, and grab, however I wanted to draw attention to this beautiful part of this cemetery.
Cache is a micro, with no room for tradeables and contains only the log. Please bring your own pen to sign the log.
This section is generally referred to as the Field of Honours. It was constructed on October 29th, 1967 in memory of all of the war veterans buried in this cemetery. Their is a beautiful cross, and plaque indicating that it was restored under the auspices of the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the Corporation of the City of Hamilton, the Hamilton Cemetery Board, and the United Council of Veterans of Hamilton and District.
