The Nostrand preserve was purchased by the town of New Milford with a grant from the Iroquois Gas Tranmission System, Inc.
Bear Hill Loop trail is located in the Kahn/Nostrand Preserve in New Milford. The trail connects both preserves and i have placed a traditional cache for each.
A spot to let the dog cool off can be found right down the trail from this cache at: N41 39.492 W073 24.691
The trails of Bear Hill pass by two sections of mature forest. The high portions of the trail offer seasonal {when leaves are down} views northwest of Kent and west into New York.
The trails are maintained by the New Milford Youth Agency and Weantinoge. Cache container is a medium lock-n-lock with usual caching items.
