URGENT! All of the caches on these red clay roads are in danger of being archived! Even more important, we may lose these amazing roads all together! The good news is that these projects are still in their study state, but the studies are set to end and get a final approval in July and November of 2019.
What are these studies about you may ask? They are studies to see how the land in between highway 27 and SR429 can be used to make new paved roadways. If this goes through, it may not be possible to maintain and or move most if not all these caches. More importantly, we would lose central Florida's finest set of red clay roads.
How can you help? If this all goes through, I'll do my best to relocate the caches, but I'm not sure I'll want to because the whole point of this run and other caches was to bring people out here and experience the area. If worst meets worst, then just know it's been one hell of a journey and through good and bad I've enjoyed it all. Thanks for all the support and the opportunity to do everything out here.
