On a beautiful Spring day, March 27, 1912, Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo gives 3,000 cherry blossom trees to be planted in Washington, D.C., to symbolize the friendship between the two countries. Every year now tourist flock to the nations Capitol to see the beautiful Cherry Blossoms in bloom
