Geocache Description:

This is the second cache placed in memory of my (jul) dad, who died in 1999 from lung cancer. For some reason, his brothers called him "Hoot." I don't know if he it was because he was a hoot (which he was) but, well, there ya go.

Updated Cache (3/20/16): Container no longer is an ammo can, but still room for small swag items. WATCH FOR THORNS AND POSSIBLY POISONOUS PLANTS. As always, in Arkansas, always watch for snakes.

Original Cache: You are looking for an ammo box in the back of the neighborhood where I grew up. My dad often walked around the neighborhood and in Rockport Cemetery to stay in shape. This also was on the walk to a pond that once was there (now the site of the Senior Adult Center and Boys and Girls Club). I remember catching my first "string" of fish in this pond with my dad.

Please put the cache back as you found it and let me know if it needs maintenance.

Thank you, olelucky. Congrats on the FTF, and my thoughts are with you.

Thank you, A&W&kids, for your kind words. That meant a lot.

Thanks to Rhone for the heads up about the poison ivy. I had not noticed it but added it as an attribute. It can be avoided but be cautious.
