You will be looking for a rectangel lock n lock cammo'd container. When placed contained a some swag and a log book.
Do you love camping? Well, I do and I have my parents, Dave and Elaine to thank for that. I think they started taking me camping even before I was born! But my first official camping trip was July of 1970 when I was 7 months old (see picture). Over the years we made many wonderful memories camping at Sly Park, Union Valley, Jackson Meadows, just to name a few.
As me and my sister grew up and had kids we continued the tradition by taking our kids camping. Mom and Dad turned into Nana and Papa and the camping trips had a lot more people.
One of our last trips before my mom passed was here to Sly Park. We had a great time as usual and hiked to the waterfall. Not many people know of the waterfall near here. Have fun hiking the trails and checking out the waterfall, my family sure does.
Would love for people to include pictures of you camping at Sly Park or at the Waterfall. Oh, and who do you have to thank for your love of camping?
Please note, there is a $10 day use fee if you want to park at the Hazel Creek Campground which is the closest parking area to the cache. The avoid the parking fee, there is trail just past the second dam off of Mormon Immigrant Trail. It's about a 2.5 mile hike into the cache. (Thanks for that info MtnMama&Papa)
