Die relativ unbekannte Bad Doberaner Eisenquelle befindet sich zwischen Bad Doberan und Heiligendamm im Großen Wohld. Sie liegt an einem Weg auf einer Waldwiese. Für Naturliebhaber ist dies ein wunderschöner Ort zum Entspannen. Bänke laden zum Verweilen ein und ein Unterstand, wo man auch sitzen kann, bietet Schutz vor Regen. Als Quelle bezeichnet man einen Ort, an dem Grundwasser auf natürliche Weise austritt. Haben Quellen einen besonders hohen Gehalt an gelösten gasförmigen oder festen Stoffen, so werden sie als Mineralquellen bezeichnet.
