Enjoy the views of Mt Adams and Mt Ranier in the distance as well as the views of Prosser and the Yakima Valley while you search for this cache. You can park at N46*11.087; W119*46.704 for a short walk downhill. Or for a tougher workout, (more challenging hike,) park at N46*11.425; W119*46.694 and hike up.
Look for a pile of discarded roofing shingles and you know you will be close. This is a great chance to practice CITO. So you are encouraged to take a shingle home and properly dispose of it. I hike up here regularly and lately have been taking one away to the trash. I will be checking on the pile. There will be a special prize in the cache when the last shingle is gone. This container is disguised to match its surroundings, so don't ignore the obvious... for the first to find, it contains a trackable "krugerandy" coin, (#41) I picked up in Montana a while back, an REI coupon and some other goodies. Please note, Rattlesnakes have occasionally been seen in this area so be cautious as you walk. This is a great sunset cache as the views are awesome.
