Geocache Description:

Hey.....I think I see the duck pond from here!!

This cache is located at a wonderful vantage point along route 28 just as it comes over the top of the hill into Oneonta. You are looking for a small, round, DUCK-taped container.

Sooo, ZaZou and Luna and I were on our way home the other night and we were "caching our way" through Oneonta like we usually do on a Sunday when traveling through if there are new caches to "smiley".

This particular Sunday was fit only for those who just don't know when to quit (very much like my pack and I). It was a regular downpour of biblical proportions!! I turned to the girls....who were already soaked....and said, "Wish it would let up just a tiny bit so we could get those last two. Man it sure is fine weather to be a duck!" Well....that is when the flashbulb went off. I thought, I just had to do a tribute cache for my favorite feathered friends......Team-Ducky! And to make it even more perfect....I had a "seed cache" I could use that I had just picked up from ware2's Golden Ammo hide the week before!

I was originally going to place this down by the river where ducks like to swim, but there already was a cache there.....SO I decided to place this up where ducks like to fly!!

Yep....they of the artful and unique custom made (and often right at the site of a hide) rubber ducks! So this cache is for YOU, Team-Ducky!! And the weather my girls and I were out in tonight which is more suited to web-footed critters like yourselves, and less to wolves (and little wolves) like my pack and me (did I mention what the car smelled like on the way home!?! Wet wolf.....wet dogs....Whew!!! ElFartero would approve!)

This starts out with a FTF prize of a nano container and a TB I think fits the theme of this cache to a "T'!
