A long walk from the dock at Main Duck Island
Main Duck Island is a wilderness island in the heart of Lake Ontario and is managed by the St Lawrence Islands National Park. This cache is placed with their permission.
The cache is along the only path across the island.
The terrain rating is due to the island location. You will need a boat, navigation skills, and a good weather window to get to this wilderness island.
There is a trail from Schoolhouse Bay at the north east end of the island to the lighthouse at the west end of the island. It's about 2 km each way. The trail would be a terrain rating of around 2 depending on how overgrown it may be when you visit.
